Another new addition to the family!

Tonight I brought home Jimmie, a young male rat.  He's white with a black hood and is quite timid.  While socializing the rats at the pet store today, I fell inlove.  Simple as that.  He isn't the youngest we sell and it's obvious he hasn't been handled nearly enough, but he demonstrated his ability to bond and build trust so I decided to bring him home and introduce him to the rest of my clan. 

Initially I fixed up a temporary cage for him, but he seems more comfortable in Grizzle's cage, which was cleaned and had the bedding replaced before Jimmie was introduced.  The new guy isn't eating and seems awfully nervous in general, yet he's been exploring his surroundings and has a healthy curiosity level.  Hopefully tomorrow his appetite will return.  Especially since I'm making Spaghetti Bake tonight.  YUM! 

Pictures will be taken once he has a chance to settle in.
